About Matthew

Hello there!

Thanks for stumbling upon my photography portfolio. My names Matthew and I'm a live music and landscape photographer from Scotland.

My focus now is on live music, especially within the DIY emo/punk scene. I work Michael Cera Palin in the UK, and when I can in the US as well.

I started photography in October 2021 before my trip to the US in November 2021, thanks to the generosity of a friend lending me his Sony A6000 (that I still have to this day, so thank you Josh). When I went on holiday a few months later, in that November, I fell in love with the shooting and editing process, and it's just went from there.

I've had my work displayed in the Glasgow Gallery of Photography's "Travel", "Nature" and "Otherworld" exhibits for 2024 and “Movement” exhibit for 2025.
